Compatibility and Receivers
The Nice FLO4 remote control is compatible with the Nice FLOX2 receivers (compatible with all motor types) and FLOXI2 (for Nice motors only), as well as other remotes in the FLO series (FLO1, FLO2, FLO4). Additionally, it is compatible with older switch-based remotes in the Very VE series, but not with the Very VR models. It shares the same frequency and fixed coding system as these devices, ensuring easy integration into your existing system.
Differentiating the Nice FLO4 and FLO4R-S
Though they look similar, the Nice FLO4 and FLO4R-S differ in their coding systems. The FLO4 uses internal DIP switches for fixed coding, while the FLO4R-S operates with a rolling code system without switches. To identify your model, open the casing: if you see a row of switches, it's the FLO4. If there are no switches, you have the FLO4R-S. The labeling on the front of the remotes can also help: "Nice" for FLO4 and "Nice Flor-s" for FLO4R-S.
How to Open the Remote Control Without Damaging It
To access the DIP switches or change the battery of your Nice FLO4 remote control without damaging it, simply press the small opening at the bottom of the remote with your thumb. Do not use a knife or any sharp object to open it.
Attention: Restrictions for Tenants
Important: If you are a tenant, you may not be able to program a switch-based remote even by correctly aligning the DIP switches, without authorization. Some receivers may require intervention from the property owner or manager to add a new remote control to the motor system. Be sure to check this before purchasing.
Simple Programming Procedure
