Remote control for gates or garage doors with rolling code, operating at dual frequency 433.92 + 868.35 MHz, 4 buttons.

This transmitter works with the new FAAC FDS (FAAC Digital Signature) technology. When used with FAAC FDS receivers, it will automatically use the best of the two frequencies depending on the range and noise level. In other words, your system can adapt to the conditions!

The FDS system has also been designed to guarantee advanced security against cloning thanks to an AES-128 digital encryption system with a 128-bit key.

To use the FDS system, the remote control must work with a FAAC FDS receiver (XF FDS 433-868, RP FDS 433-868, RP2 FDS 433-868, XR2 FDS 433-868 or XR4 FDS 433-868).

The remote control is available in unidirectional and bidirectional versions: bidirectional FDS transmitters (BD) also provide feedback on the command sent and received by your FDS receiver, thanks to a two-colour LED and a vibration. You can also program a button to request the status of your gate (open or closed).

XT4 FDS 433-868 remote controls are backwards compatible with SLH systems. In this case, they can only copy an XT 433 SLH LR or XT 868 SLH LR transmitter and cannot become "master" transmitters. In other words, the FDS system will not be used and it will not be able to transmit the code to other FAAC beepers.

The FAAC FDS transmitter is also available in a 2-button version. Its design makes it a perfect beeper to stand out from its predecessors. It is available in a single colour and always has a tamper-proof tag to put it on your key ring.

The product is supplied with instructions, which you can find below, and the battery is included.

Guide to programming your remote control from another FDS remote control:

Step 1. Standing close to the receiver, place the new remote control and the previously programmed transmitter facing each other. Hold down the button to be transmitted on the remote control already programmed for 10 seconds. The LED on the remote control will flash alternately red and green. Release the button. The LED will continue to flash.
Step 2. Within 20 seconds, press the button to be programmed on the new remote control. The LED on the new FDS remote will flash alternately red and green.

Guide to programming your remote control from an SLH remote control :

Step 1. Simultaneously press the P1 and P2 buttons on the new remote control for 2 seconds, then release. The LED on the remote will flash green slowly. Briefly press the P1 button on the new remote 3 times. The transmitter LED will flash red twice, then go out. Your FDS remote control now works with the SLH system.
Step 2. Place your old FAAC remote control (SLH) and the new FDS remote control facing each other. On your old remote control, press the top right and bottom left buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. When you release the button, the LED will flash slowly.
Step 3. Hold down the button to be sent on the previously programmed beep (its LED will light up continuously) and at the same time press the button to be programmed on the new remote. The LED on the new remote will flash red twice before going out. When you use it for the first time, press the newly programmed button twice (instead of once).

Guide to programming your remote control from an FDS receiver :

Step 1. Access your receiver and press the programming button. The LED on the receiver will flash slowly.
Step 2. Within 20 seconds, press the button to be programmed on the new remote control. The LED on the FDS remote control will flash alternately red and green, while the LED on the receiver will light up steadily for 2 seconds and then flash again for a further 20 seconds, giving you time to program other buttons if necessary.

Frequently asked questions :

I live in a condominium. Can I buy a FAAC XT4 FDS 433-868 remote control and programme it myself?

It's highly likely that your building manager has blocked the condominium's receiver. Contact him before ordering.

Can I copy an XT4 FDS 433-868 remote control from an SLH 433 or SLH 868 remote control?

Regardless of the frequency, it is possible to copy an FDS transmitter from your old SLH beeper but not from an SLH receiver. Consequently, your FDS remote control cannot be a "Master" transmitter.

Is the FDS remote control backwards compatible with SL, RC or TM models?

No, FDS transmitters are only compatible with SLH remote controls.
